Charles Todd has been a member of the University of Chicago since 2003. He holds a PhD in Philosophy from the University which investigates akrasia—the ancient Greek term for “weakness of will”—as well as other forms of irrational behavior. He has worked with students in a variety of capacities over his time here including at the Center for Leadership & Involvement, as a Preceptor for MAPH, for Campus & Student Life as part of the Dean-on-Call program, in admissions and financial aid at the Pritzker School of Medicine, and in the College Dean of Students Office since 2014.
